Photographs of nuthatch birds. These lovely birds spend much of their time clinging to the branches of tall trees. They will forage on the ground, amongst rocks and will also visit bird tables. However, it is most at home adopting elegant poses whilst clinging and climbing tall tress. The Nuthatch bird eats acorns, seeds, berries and nuts. They rarely move far, liking mixed or deciduous woodland. A rare bird in Scotland.
