Photographs of Pipits. Tree pipits are widespread in Scotland with a loud and musical song. In sings from the top of a tree on in flight, incorporating long trills and ending with a slow chew-chew-chew or seea-seea. It is very similar to a Meadow Pipit but brown rather than olive with a more yello breast which is streaked less heavily. No tree pipits winter in Scotland.
